What is Reiki?
Reiki energy is a very powerful yet gentle, sacred art of healing. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word representing universal life energy, the energy which is all around us. It is derived from rei, meaning "free passage" or "transcendental spirit" and ki, meaning "vital life force energy" or " universal life energy". Reiki is an amazing healing energy that is transmitted from the Practitioner's hands directly to you. It knows exactly what to do and where to go to release any stress and or pain trapped in your emotional and or physical body. Reiki can be performed laying down or in a seated position, of course you will remain fully clothed and no oils or lotions are used. The Practitioner will place their hands gently on or above your body, focusing on all the areas that concern you most. The result is truly rewarding and will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed. You will see how Reiki aids in healing the body, the mind and the soul!
