Learn How to Meditate
Meditation is one of the most natural and rewarding of all human activities.  It is a state in which the body is relaxed, the mind is focused, and the heart is open.  In the quietness of calm inner listening, it gives direct, intuitive experience of higher realities.

 

Dates: (4 Tuesdays) February 16th, 23rd, March 2nd & 9th.

These meditation classes include practices of deep breathing, relaxation, visualization, energy exercises, music and time-tested meditation techniques of concentration.

Instructor: Jiavanna Skolnik is a certified teacher of Hatha Yoga and Ananda Meditation.  Classes are based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi.  For more info, call 401-308-8745.

Below is a link to our monthly "Meditation Night".  We are now calling it Meditation Support Workshop.  Whether or not you have taken the "Learn How to Meditate" 4-week course, all are welcome to the monthly group meditation. It does not matter where you are with regard to your practice of meditation.  We look forward to seeing you there!
