Yoga Classes   

Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.

Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m.

Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.

Saturdays at 11:30 a.m.

Yoga prices:  Six-Week series* $60

Eight-Week series (16 classes, meets 2x per week) $160

Drop-in  $12 per class

 

(If you are in a series, you have a reserved spot in class.  If you are attending on a drop-in basis, extra spots are usually available, but it is a good idea to arrive early to make sure you get in.)

 

Beginners Welcome!

 

These classes are especially helpful for beginners. We offer a gentle approach to yoga, incorporating elements of Vinyasa and YogaFit styles.  This approach provides a mild cardiovascular workout as well as gentle challenges to increase flexibility, strength and endurance. Classes will also focus on breathing and relaxing the mind, allowing students to flow with ease through the yoga poses. Modifications are given according to students' needs.

*Please Note:

The YOGA Series' are now based on an individual sign-up.  In other words, you can sign up for a series anytime.  No need to wait for a specific set of dates.

Maureen has had a lifelong interest in health and fitness.  Her current yoga classes at West Shore Wellness are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and starting February 3rd will be having Yoga classes every Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 11:30a.m. to 12:30p.m.

Apart from teaching Yoga and Pilates, Maureen has developed an exercise class using hand-held weights, a light cardio workout, and body resistance which people can use to gain muscle strength, lose weight, increase bone density, tone the body, and increase your overall physical condition.
