Beginners Welcome!

 

These classes are especially helpful for beginners. We offer a gentle approach to yoga, incorporating elements of Vinyasa and YogaFit styles.  This approach provides a mild cardiovascular workout as well as gentle challenges to increase flexibility, strength and endurance. Classes will also focus on breathing and relaxing the mind, allowing students to flow with ease through the yoga poses. Modifications are given according to students' needs.

 

Classes are on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class to check in and ensure your spot.

 

New!.. A slightly more intensive Yoga Ball Class on Thursdays at 6pm beginning February 2nd.  This class strengthens your core and abs using a small ball in different postures... You may sweat a little more and experience greater toning as a result.

We are also now offering Basic Yoga on Wednesdays at 11:30am, rounding out several additional times added for your convenience. 

 

Join us for Yoga Dance!

This is a one hour yoga dance class with Mary Scannell, Certified Kripalu Yoga Dance Instructor.

A Free Demo Class will be held:

Sunday, February 26th, 2012 at 11am.

If enough people come and want to sign up for the class, it will be a regular occurrence every Sunday at 11am... So please come if you think you might like to loosen up with a yoga-styled light, fun workout! :-)

Maureen has had a lifelong interest in health and fitness.  Her current yoga classes at West Shore Wellness are on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and her Ball Yoga Class is on Thursday evenings.
