Candlelit Yoga

Wednesday, January 7th 6:00 -7:00pm

This class incorporates gentle stretching and restorative poses to improve flexibility and range of motion..

Additional benefits:

*The soft light of candles can soothe the nervous system and promote relaxation. 

*Encourages participants to focus on the present moment, reducing mental chatter. 

*Helps the body and mind prepare for restful sleep. 

*Helps us to turn our attention inward, creating a deeper connection with body and breath. 

*The calming and introspective nature of candlelit yoga can create space for emotional processing and release.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and any props to assist and provide comfort.

New YIN YOGA Series

Yin Yoga is a style of yoga that emphasizes slow, passive poses held for extended periods, typically 3-5 minutes. It aims to stretch and nourish the body's deep connective tissues, engaging fascia, ligaments, and joints. It differs from other yoga styles by its emphasis on holding poses rather than flowing through them. This class also includes meditation.

This New Series meets Thursdays from January 8th - 29th at 6 pm Register here

All classes have you in mind to meet you where you are on your fitness journey.

 

OPEN YOGA

Begin the New Year by participating in one of our open yoga classes. Classes are offered on a drop in basis, or you can purchase an 8-class yoga pass.

By committing to yoga, you will begin to notice increased strength, flexibility and a sense of calm that can transform your body and mindset.

Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga that emphasizes the flow and connection between yoga poses, synchronized with the breath.

 

Winter Solstice Reiki/Sound Healing Wednesday, January 14th, 6:00 - 7:00pm

The Winter Solstice is a time of reflection and renewal, a turning point from darkness toward light. Join Maureen and Deb as we celebrate the New Year and bring our focus inward to connect with our intentions and goals.🌬️☃️💫

We will provide zero-gravity chairs, so no need for yoga mats. However, feel free to bring a blanket and pillow for cozy comfort. Please contact Deb with questions - 401-487-7205.
